Marilyn Hale has many years experience in arts and crafts and has taught and demonstrated at various educational establishments and craft venues around the country, including the N.E.C. in Birmingham and the Radio Arena in Newcastle. Marilyn regularly holds children's workshops at the Dock Museum in Barrow in Furness. She also regularly runs community craft events for children in her home town of Ulverston.
Marilyn is an 'Deco Art Helping Artist' and a volunteer for the Art Foundation Charity. A graduate of the University of Central Lancashire, she recently retired from teaching to concentrate on working in her own studio.
Having taken delivery of a fabulous glass fusing kiln, and with guidance from the Creative Glass Guild, and inspiration from acclaimed Welsh glass artist; Anne Collins, Marilyn not only creates items for sale but is eager to share her knowledge with fellow crafters.
